Evelyn McNabb Obituary

Evelyn J. McNabb PORTSMOUTH - Evelyn "Jan" McNabb, 73, passed away Monday, April 19, 2010 in her residence. She was a native of Roanoke, Va., and was the daughter of the late Mary and Alton C. Franklin Sr. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry McNabb and her son, Robert McNabb. She is survived by three sisters, Florence Swain, Marilyn Mason and Geraldine Dooley; three brothers, Alton C. Franklin Jr. and wife Evelyn, Palmer M. Franklin and wife Doris and Douglas G. Franklin; and a host of nieces and nephews. Her remains will be cremated. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at 4416 Expressway Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23452. www.SturtevantFuneralHome.com
