Freida Ruffin Obituary

Freida Elaine H. Ruffin NORFOLK - Freida Elaine Hrisko Ruffin of the 8000 block of Andrew Lane passed away Nov. 15, 2009, after a long illness in a local hospital. She was born July 30, 1943, to the late William S. and Jerrie Allen. She was predeceased by her son, William Charles "Chuck" Hrisko and her beloved husband, Charles "Sonny" Ruffin. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, David Allen Hrisko, John Michael Hrisko; three grandsons, Fredrick Charles Hrisko, Edwin Allen Hrisko, and John Michael Hrisko Jr.; one granddaughter, Nichole Marie Wilson (Frank) and a loving daughter-in-law, Cheryl Ann Hrisko; two brothers, William "Bill" Allen, and Scott Allen of Aneston, Ala.; and a host of nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today in Oakdale Presbyterian Church, 550 E. Little Creek Road, Norfolk.

Elaine touched the hearts of so many and will be truly missed. Her memory will continue to live on. May God continue to bless and keep her family during this most difficult time. Please accept my deepest condolences.
