Gary Kimber Obituary
Born in Longview, Washington, he was the son of the late Gilbert B. and Evelyn E. Kimber. He was also predeceased by his precious son, Gabriel L. Kimber; his loving in-laws, Larkin and Jane Jones. Gary was retired from the U.S. Navy Reserves.
Including his wife, Gary's legacy continues with his children, Karen K. Andriola and husband Joel, Daniel-Abram B. Kimber, Christopher S. Kimber and wife Brittany, Micah G. Kimber and wife Emma; a daughter-in-love Priscilla Kimber; grandchildren, Clara, Molly, Isabella, Gabriella, Lilleigh, Logan, Keith, Abigail; siblings, Dean Kimber, Raymond Kimber and Karen Kimber, as well as beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, brothers and sisters in Christ.
Gary's life will be celebrated 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, Chesapeake. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service. The interment with Military Honors will follow in the Albert Horton, Jr. Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk.

I had the privilege to work with Gary for several years in the City of Norfolk Utilities Department. We shared many sea stories. Gary was kind, considerate and always willing to give a helping hand. Rest in peace Lt. Commander Kimber we have got the watch.
