Harry Parker Obituary

Harry Lee Parker PORTSMOUTH - On June 19, 2011 the Lord called home our father, Harry Lee Parker. He was born Oct. 4, 1955 in Norfolk. He was employed by Cascade Construction Company for 25 years. He was a loving husband, father, uncle, brother and friend. Harry was loved by many but respected by most. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 30 years, Jacqueline Parker; one son, Harry Vaughan; six daughters, Doris Andrews (Keith), Jacqueline Walker (Larry), Latoya Parker, Erica Jordan (Isaiah), Tina Parker and Antanita Parker (Jimmy); one goddaughter, Iyonna Bailey; three brothers, Leon, Linwood and George; four sisters, Margretta Brian, Lutricia McKinn (Ralph), Carolyn Johnson and Diane Parker; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Elizabeth and Jerry Parker; and sister, Mary Parker. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today, June 25, at New Mount Olivet Baptist Church. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Corprew Funeral Home is in charge.
