Irvin Cehrs Obituary
Virginia Beach - Irvin Leslie Cehrs passed away on Sept. 28, 2016.
Born in Woodsfield, Ohio, in 1928, he was a Navy veteran and retired employee of Frito Lay.
He is survived by Joan, his wife of 62 years, and children Mike and his wife Vicki, Leslie and her husband Bobby, and Ellen and her husband Lee; grandchildren Josh, Paul, Nicole, Jessica, Jason, Shawn, Chris and Roby; and nine beautiful great grandchildren with another one on the way.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday October 6, 2016 at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel in Virginia Beach.
In lieu of flowers, Irv asked that those left behind pay their riches forward. Online condolences may be made to the family at hdoliver.com.

We were so sad to hear of the loss of Uncle Irv. He was such a gentle soul & always had a big hug for you! He was definetly one of a kind!! We will miss you but we're glad you are at peace in heaven.

To my 2nd Family!!!! I am so saddened over Irv's death!!!! Please know that I love you all and I wish I could be there.......My dad does too!!! We are heartbroken over this. He was one of the sweetest men that I have ever known in my life!!!! Your whole family is SO special to me that words cannot express!!! I love ALL of you and my prayers and condolences are with you all!!! Always in my heart and will never be forgotten!!!!! He is in heaven now for sure, and I hope he sees my mom there!!!! I love you all from the bottom of my heart!!!!!! God Bless!!!!
