Thoughts and prayers to Jim's family. We have been going to Grate Steak for years now and it is our favorite restaurant on the planet. My husband and I just got the news and I can't tell you how sad we both are for the staff of Grate Steak and especially his family. The Grate Steak won't ever be the same without Jim. He will truly be missed.

My family and I were very saddened to hear of Jim's passing. We have been going to Grate Steak on Military Highway since it's inception and my daughter and I just had lunch there on Sunday. He has graced my life with many smiles as our bridge group has played at his restaurant for 5/6 years. He always came by to say hello and make us feel welcome. We have missed his smiling face these past few months and will miss him even more now. Our sincerest sympathies to his family.
