I will never forget Mr. Jessup for he was a very kind man to me for once I was sitting out on the road across from his house with a flat tire and was waiting for someone to come and help me and waited for some time. He saw me sitting and came across the road to check on me and changed my tire. I was every so grateful for him plus he use to take seniors to doctors and hospitals for appointments after he left as an arson investigator. Plus i went to school with his daughter Cindy and knew Lelani and Kenny. also my son bought his 2001 Park Avenue before he passed away and i drive it when I get a chance but my son uses it daily back and forth to work. I love the car and it is the best riding car that was ever made. God knows he is in a better place and yes he had his moments bit that was James or Joe. Your memory will never be frogotten with us. Rest In Peace!
Sincerely.,
Debbie & doyne Feaganes

LeiLani, Cindy, Jeremy & Jessica -
I have such fond memories of your Dad & Grandfather (that always included your Mom & Grandmother) from preschool at the Baptist Church to later years at football games. The sweetest souls you would EVER find! The both of them will never be forgotten. I know my Dad thought the world of both of them & I know for certain he is having a grand time smiling & talking about old memories with the two of them. Sending all of my love and prayers to all of you during this time, from all of our family.

Jess was a great guy and family friend. He never refused to speak to my students about his work! They loved him as I did!! May God give you all strength and comfort in the weeks ahead.

My thoughts are with you family of James Henry Jessup, Sr. I knew "Jess" as a family member as well as in his important roles of public service and especially his earlier years in the VB Fire Department. I have many fond memories. God bless you family members and friends and may you sense God's presence during your grief.
