Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 45 years, Rebecca A. "Becky" Phillips; daughters, Cara R. Sampson (James), Ruth E. Bates; sons, Isaac D. Phillips (Kim), Joseph M. Phillips, Benjamin R. Phillips (Jessica), James D Phillips (Heidi), Abraham W. Phillips; brother, Roger Phillips (Debbie); seven grandchildren, Dahniel J. Crepsac, Avril D. Crepsac, David A. Bates, Anthony E. Bates, Gavin P. Phillips, Jordan K. Phillips, Dominic R. Phillips; as well as numerous extended family members and dear friends.
The family is inviting friends on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 6-7:30pm at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Rd. Chesapeake. A service to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 11am at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 717 Whitehurst Landing Rd, Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers consider a donation in his honor to Tabernacle Baptist Church Missions Fund via https://www.tabernaclebaptistchurchvirginiabeach.com/give .
