Jason Reed Obituary
He is survived by his wife Lisa Mundy Reed; two daughters, Kaylee and McKenzie Reed; his father, Stewart Reed; two brothers, Wayne Reed and wife Susan and Wayne Reed, III; two sisters, Nita Smith and husband Ernest and Crystal Reed and husband Andy; mother and father-in-law, Stephen and Brenda Mundy; and a host of extended family.
A Memorial service will be held 4 P.M. Sunday, February 23, at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Kaylee and McKenzie's college fund.

Still hard to believe Jason is no longer with us. I talk to his buddy Candy often and ask about how the family is holding up. Truly a loss to no longer to be able to talk to Jason but he and his family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Jason is truly missed here at Cox. Always think of him when I am at the fleet shop and many of his co-workers still talk of how they miss him. He always took time out of his day to speak to any and everyone and always had a smile and a kind word.

I worked with Jason at Cox for many years. Just dropping off a vehicle turned into a great meaningful conversation every single time. He was a magnet of a personality. A truly great guy and it hurts my heart he is gone too son. God Bless his family and coworkers!

I am deeply saddened to see God called another one of us home especially one as friendly, helpful and overall amazing. I met the Reed family at Penske in Chesapeake when I started my career. The Reeds always had kind words and always tried to teach and offer advice. Jason was always offering to teach me what he was doing to help me succeed and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. My heart is heavy and I can't begin to imagine what the family is going through. From my family to yours we are here for you if you need anything. Please dont hesitate.

Although we didnt see much of each other after our school days, Jason was best friends with many of my close friends. I grew up in the same neighborhood as Lisa as well. He was a great and loving father and husband. And his best friends never had anything but the kindest words to say about him. I wish I would have known him better. My families thoughts and prayers are with Lisa and their children. Rest In Peace my friend. You are and will continue to be missed.
