Jay Clarke Obituary
Norfolk - Jay "JByrd" Clarke, 47, passed away February 8, 2016. Jay was a Christian, graduate of Old Dominion University and was an Enforcement Officer for the Virginia Child Support Division of Norfolk. He is a well known local musician who played in several bands.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Joan L. Tucker; sister, Andrea M. Clarke; brother, Frank B. Clarke; niece, Florentina Schleufer; and nephews, Clifton J. Williams, Jr. and Daniel Schleufer. Jay was predeceased by a sister, Rene Denise Clarke.
A service to celebrate his life will be held Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake, VA with a reception to follow at the funeral home. Please visit his book of memories at www.grahamfuneralhome.com to view the service if unable to attend and leave words of love for the family.
In lieu of flowers, please support the www.JayCClarke.org Music Fund to benefit kids of all ages and abilities.

It was an honor to work with Jay. He made the job a little less stressful with his humor. I will miss when he heard there was food somewhere around the office, and would say " Um, Diana, I have some business to take care of". Your space at work is so empty now. But I know you are with all the other Van Halen lovers in Rock and Roll Heaven. Thanks for the memories Jay.
