Our sincere sympathy is with all the family. I was really sadden when I heard this awful news. I read what the family and friends said about Reesie and I know it was
true, because I grew up next door to the family on Thayor Street. I never heard a cross or angry word from her. I am remembering some of the times she made me laugh. You have your memories and the Lord will carry you and take care of you for now during this sad time in your lives.
Be Strong,
Ann, Eddie and my brother Howard

Lillie was my bus driver when I lived in Poplar Halls and attended Booker T. in the 70s. We remained friends over the years and I took pictures of her at the Kam Chancellor event out at Lakewood Park in 2014.

I am hurt that she is gone and I pray for her family's comfort during this most difficult time.

My Cousin Rese, It's just hard to imagine that you're gone from down here. I keep thinking about the long conversation we had a few days before the wedding, not knowing that would be our last, on this side. Until we meet again, I love you and I know you're smiling down on your baby girl. RIP
