Linda Crowling Obituary
She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Linda was known for her sarcastic sense of humor and held great passion for her family, music of Jimmy Buffett, live theater, classic movies, crochet, card games, reading, the Outer Banks, and the Redskins. She is survived by her son Robert Holmes; daughter Elizabeth Larson; eight grandchildren, Austin, Marlee, Maya, Michael, Destiny, Skylar, Camryn, Paisley; two great grandchildren, Kamela and Marziana; two brothers, Cliff Doxey (Kathy) and Thomas Doxey; a sister, Dorothy Barnett; four nephews, Paul, Jeff, Robert, David; and best friend, Deborah Sasser. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

I miss my friend! We met at Cox Cable in the early 80'ies. I am so sorry I didn't visit my friend one more time. I thought I had more time.!! I did think I saw her through my telescope, on a cloudless night in June as she rested between voyages at her Beach House on the moon.

I listened to Jimmy Buffet all day today and thought about my friend and all the adventures we shared. I loved her sense of humor and quick wit. I will miss my friend. I thought I saw her through my telescope on a cloudless night in June, as she rested between voyages on her beach house on the moon.!!
