Linwood Swinson Obituary
Morehead City, NC - Linwood E. Swinson DCCM USCG Retired, 76, of Morehead City passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Carteret General Hospital. A service will be held Friday, July 3, 2015 at Parkview Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Jean Byrd Swinson; son Steven Mark Swinson and wife Renee Swinson; four sisters , Norma Midgett, Irma Oliver, Coleen Feree, Gray Pollard; two grandchildren, Lillie McKenna and Zach. He was preceded in death by his parents Doc and Lillie Bruton Swinson, son, Reginald Swinson; four brothers, Jesse Ray Swinson, R.L. Swinson, Reginald Swinson, Earl Swinson; two sisters, Faye Conte and Rita Cannon. Family welcomes flowers or memorials to Hope Mission, Salvation Army or Vietnam Veterans of Morehead City.
