Lucille Howell Obituary
Lucille B. Howell SUFFOLK - Lucille Bennett Howell, 86, died Nov. 6, 2008, at her home. Born in Edward, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Ronald Owen and Effie Blanche E. Bennett and widow of Roland Jhugh Howell. She was predeceased by a brother, Smith Paul Bennett and sister, Eula Holmes Bunch. Mrs. Howell was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter, June H. Little of the home; son, Bennett Yates Howell and wife Donna; sister, Annette Bennett Turner and husband Wilson, all of Suffolk; grandchildren, Christopher Channing Davidson and wife Debi, Michael Howell Davidson and wife Holly, all of Virginia Beach, Kevin Bennett Howell and wife Valerie and Keith Howell and wife Rana, all of Suffolk; and eight great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home & Crematory by the Rev. Gretchen Nelson. The family will receive friends in the funeral home Saturday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Condolences may be registered at www.rwbakerfh.com.
