My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Jordie was my babysitter many years ago. I used to catch the bus in front of her house to and from Norfolk Highlands. Sorry for your loss.

It's been many years since I saw Mrs. Jordan, but I am the Granddaughter of Myrtle Chappell (Deceased), the once oldest member of Tabernacle. Lucy spent many wknds. with my grandmother and I. When Mr. Jordan was alive they would both come and visit many hours, fellowshipping and always enjoying a country meal, something that was always a favorite subject besides the lord. After Mr. Jordan passed, Ms. Lucy often came and stayed, and they would both get up early and attend church sunday morning. She often brought my grandmother Avon products and would help paint her nails, she would never hesitate to tell her an honest opinion about something either! I can remember her crocheting beautiful afghans and grandmother peddling them at my Aunt's beauty shop. I was so glad they were able to keep each other company over the years. Now they are able to meet again in Heaven.
God Bless.

Doris and family, I have so many fond memories of Mom Jordan. I will miss her. I loved her truly. Christmas's with the lemon jello cakes to celebrate Jesus' birthday, vacations to Chesapeake, and her visits to South Carolina add to the many memories I will never forget. Every time I walked in a room where she was I could hear her calling my name for a hug. :0) I love you all and you will be in my prayers.
