Martha Blythe Obituary
Franklin - Martha Carew Cale Blythe, 96, widow of Mallory B. "M.B." Blythe, Jr., passed away January 16, 2015. Born in Roxebel, NC, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Dancy Cale and Minnie Jilcott Cale. Mrs. Blythe was a member of Bethel Friends Meeting.
Survivors include two sons, Malcolm B. "Mac" Blythe and his wife, Annie Sue, of Franklin and Douglas C. Blythe and his wife, Julie, of Athens, TX; three grandchildren, Delbert Blythe and his wife, Angela, Jason Blythe, Jonna Hawkes and her husband, Matt; seven great-grandchildren, Dillon, Amber, and Winston Blythe, Wesley, Austin, Micah, and Tyler Hawkes.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. James H. Hyatt, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Poplar Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and suggest memorials be made to any favorite charity. www.wrightfuneralhome.org

I am friends with Annie Sue, Mac Blythe, Sharon& Billy Piersa, & Maggie & feel as if I knew her through all the good things said about
her ! I wish I could have gotten to know her in her last days but I also lost my mother Phyllis B. Butler 12-31-14 & could not but know she is welcomed in "Heaven" to continue to do her good works there as she
did here on earth !
