The family will have a private service and requests in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
The family would like to extend their special thanks to Mom's Hospice nurse, Suzanne Smith who made our Mothers journey much easier.

Martha will be remembered as a good neighbor and the gentlest of spirits. Her kind condolences to our family with the passing of my husband will always be in my heart. Condolences to Alan and the entire Scott family. She made the universe a better place.

My condolences to the entire Scott Family. Although I first met Martha over 37 years ago, it was in the late 1990´s and early 2000´s that I really got to know her from traveling abroad with Martha. She was the most pleasant lady and she always would remind me that our travels abroad ( with or without working a/c!) was "just part of the journey!" Most recently we discussed various health issues we both had been experiencing and her comment
to that was "Man´s plans are not always a part of God´s plans!" Such a wise woman who taught me so much with so few words! I am so thankful that Martha was included as a part of my life! May you Rest In Peace, Martha...
