Mary Parker Obituary
Virginia Beach - 91, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Aug. 21, 2015. She was born Oct. 4, 1923, in Camden County, NC to the late Irene Gordon Knox Woodhouse, and Luther Thomas Knox. She was predeceased by her husband, Willie A. Parker; son, James C. Henry; sister, Norma Lee Lawrence, and brother, Arthur Knox. Mary was a member of New Jerusalem C.O.G.I.C. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Mary C. Henry-Smith, Lynette P. Cooper, Vecka S. Lane; sons, Simuel Philpot, and Johnny Philpot; a sister, Carrie Lee Knox Butts. Services will be 11am, Fri. at New Jerusalem C.O.G.I.C., and visitation will be 6-8pm Thurs. at Beach Funeral & Cremation Services, VB.

my heart is saddened because our family has lost one of our most beloved. I find comfort in knowing that cousin Mary is resting in the presence of our Lord. Family,stay strong and comforted in the many memories throughout the years.praying for you.
