Melanie LaBeaud Obituary
Norfolk - Melanie Lowell LaBeaud, 34, of Norfolk, Va went to be with the Lord on Oct. 22, 2013. She was the daughter of David L. Lowell of Corapeake, N.C. and Sharon B. Lowell Morris of Northern Virginia. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Virgil and Ethel Bailey of Northern Virginia; her paternal grandfather, James R. Lowell, of Chesapeake, Va. and her step-mother, Sheila Byers Lowell, of Corapeake, N.C.
Melanie was a member of Brentlox Baptist Church and a graduate of Deep Creek High School, both in Chesapeake, Va. She was a lovely friendly and cheerful young woman and was an avid sports fan, especially of NASCAR.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Michael A. LaBeaud, her mother Sharon, her father David, two sisters, Sarah Lowell and Dorothy Morris; three brothers; Robert Bailey, Ben and Wesley Byers; her paternal grandmother, Evelyn Lowell and several aunts, uncles, cousins nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Talbot Park Baptist Church Chapel, at 6919 Granby St., Norfolk, Va. on Nov. 23 at 1 p.m. Burial will be private.
