Michael Lepski Obituary
Richmond, Va. - Michael Gerard Lepski, born February 22nd, 1959, of Richmond, Virginia passed away into the loving arms of Jesus Christ at his home on December 25, 2015. Michael was born in Augsburg, Germany to Theodore and Kathryn Lepski. He attended elementary school in Alexandria, Virginia and high school in Newport News, Virginia and graduated from The University of Connecticut where he majored in American History and minored in English. Michael served honorably in the United States Army in Heilbronn, Germany. After retiring from his career in horticulture, he continued pursuing his interests in photography, history, and astronomy. Michael was predeceased by his mother and is survived by his father, Theodore J. Lepski of Lakewood, New Jersey; two brothers, Theodore J. Lepski of Chesapeake, Virginia and William A. Lepski of Richmond, Virginia; and three sisters, Mary Kathryn Krotseng of Bradenton, Florida, Patricia M. Pruitt of Carrolton, Virginia and Eileen M. Hicks of Stephens City, Virginia, and also by numerous nephews and nieces. Michael was a kind, gentle and generous man with a playful sense of humor and an inquisitive disposition who was dearly loved by the many people whose lives he touched. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 noon Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Catholic Church of the Epiphany, 11000 Smoketree Drive, Richmond, Virginia. Interment will be held at The Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Rd. Amelia Court House, Va. 23002
