Portsmouth - Mildred V. Brown, 79, went to be with the Lord on January 7, 2017. She was born in Portsmouth, VA on April 26, 1937.
She leaves to cherish memory: a daughter, Louella J. Grimes (Vernell) of Portsmouth, VA; two sons, Richard J. Brown Jr. (Diane) of Portsmouth, VA, Curtis J. Brown (Dena) of Greensboro, NC; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Public viewing will be Friday, January 13, 2017, 12 Noon and a wake service will be at 7 pm at Corprew Funeral Home. Funeral service on Saturday, January 14th, 11 am at Tabernacle Church, 1131 Crawford Parkway, Portsmouth, VA.
