Nancy Green Obituary
Norfolk - Nancy Rutter Green, 93, of Wrentham, died on April 9, 2013, in the Pond Home in Wrentham. She had been the beloved widow of Capt. David H. Green.
Born in New York City, NY on February 23, 1921, she was the dear daughter of Edward and Mary (Alexandre) Rutter.
Nancy had attended the Garrison Forest Finishing School in Garrison, MD, and had been homemaker for most of her life. She had enjoyed gardening in her yard, sewing for her family, and cooking was one of her specialties.
She leaves loving children, David Green Jr. of Walpole, Nancy Meshnick of NJ, Sharman Bartram of CT, and Lucy Gowdy of NH. She was the sister of Virginia White of FL, and the late Mary Smith, Edward and Jack Rutter. There are nine grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass was held on April 30, 2013, at St. Mary's Church, South Street, Wrentham Centre, with a Memorial Mass and Internment of her ashes at Saint Bernard's Church in Sharon, CT.
Arrangements are in the care of Richard Ross and the RJ Ross Funeral Home, Wrentham Centre.
