Nicole Swan-Lambert Obituary
Nicole J. Swan-Lambert VIRGINIA BEACH - Nicole J. Swan-Lambert died suddenly July 5, 2008, in a single vehicle accident in Virginia Beach. Nicole was 26 when the Lord decided it was time for her to receive her angel wings. She was born March 2, 1982, in Virginia Beach. Nicole was fondly nicknamed Coley Jean by family and friends. Upon her birth, her mother immediately recognized Coley Jean had a fierce and stubborn personality and a determination to always get what she wanted. Her mother, Tracey McCauley, fondly remarks, "Coley Jean was my best friend and it is Nicole's fierce spirit that I admired and will miss the most." Nicole had a radiant warm smile which was offered up to all she met. Although her young life was filled with joys and struggles, she had an intense will and desire to succeed against adversity that was matched only by her intense love for her young son Austin, her family, friends, and dogs Leila, Titan, Roxey and family cat, "Cat." She was a loving mother, beautiful daughter, devoted sister, granddaughter, beloved niece, cherished cousin, auntie and friend. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she has touched. Nicole J. "Coley Jean" Swan-Lambert is survived by her 2-year-old son, Austin N. Lambert; Austin's father, Mark Lambert; mother, Tracey McCauley; father, David Swan and his wife Robin; sister, Brandy Rabey; paternal grandparents, John and Helen Swan; maternal grandparents, Melvin McCauley and Thomas and Jean Holcombe; nephews, Cain Jimenez and Aiden Rabey; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends, all of Virginia Beach. A service will be held in memory of "Coley Jean" Thursday at 3 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church, 691 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23457. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Nicole's name to Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters.

Nicole had a lot of heart and soul and tried to do the best to tackle the tough times in her life. I admire her spirit and her love of others. Wish she were here for Austin but I know she created a beautiful boy who I hope can make a difference that she was pulled away too soon to complete.God Speed Nicole and may you find peace.

We pray that you all can come together in a time like this and realize how short our time on earth can be .Your memories of Nicole will never be forgotten . David, Tracey, Brandy, and all of Coley's other family, I am so sorry for your loss, growing up with Brandy, Coley was like a little sister to me also, always right there where Brandy and I were.
