Norma McNellis Obituary
Norma was an avid reader, baker and knitter. She was very involved with her church and their community programs. She volunteered with the USO chapter at Norfolk Naval Base for years, baking cookies and serving meals to service members.
Left to cherish Norma's memory are her children, son, Edward McNellis, daughter Cathy Porter, son-in-law, Michael Porter and many loving extended family members and friends from her church and her community at the senior living apartments where she resided.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 27th, 2024 at St. John Lutheran Church in Norfolk. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Norma's name to: USO MidAtlantic PO Box 8097 Norfolk, VA 23503. Online condolences may be offered to the family at hdoliver.com.
