Patricia Church

Patricia S. Church VIRGINIA BEACH - Patricia Shealy Church, 64, passed into the hands of her Savior, Jesus Christ on Dec. 20, 2009. She was a member of Colonial Baptist Church. Pat was a simple woman with much faith, she was a great encourager, and she will definitely be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Mrs. Church is survived by her husband of 43 years, W. Dean Church; three children, Kimberly Dail and husband Steven, Lara Church and Jeffrey Church; three grandchildren, Michael, Christopher and Meagan Dail; two sisters, Cheryl Davis and Cynthia Edwards; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jack S. Blount and Phyllis Blount. The visitation will be held at Altmeyer Funeral Home 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach, today, Dec. 22, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. A celebration of life will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Dec. 23, at 10 a.m. with burial to follow in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patricia Church's name to the American Cancer Society, 4416 Expressway Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23452.
