Paul Edwards Obituary
Portsmouth - Paul Thomas Edwards III, 62, died April 1, 2014. A native of Portsmouth, he was predeceased by his parents, Daisy Fuller Edwards and Paul T. Edwards Jr.; and a brother, Henry Dale Edwards. Paul retired from Norfolk and Southern Railroad with 40 years of service, was an avid golfer. He was a member of the Chesapeake Elks Lodge #82 and the Army National Guard.
Survivors include his wife, Anne C. Edwards; sons, Michael Thomas Edwards and wife Yuriko of Surry, and Kevin Lee Edwards and wife Sierra of Staunton; daughter, Karen Edwards; brother, Thomas S. Edwards and wife Sandra of Chesapeake; sisters, Paulette Gehrke and husband August of Yorktown, and Ann Midgett and husband Jake of Chesapeake; seven grandchildren, Blaine, Jade, Jasper, Riley, Logan, Hunter and Nolan; nieces and nephews, Cindy Cundiff, Lisa Ann German, Tracy Pastella, Rhonda Williams, Becky Chamberlain, Kimberly Stallings, Lisa Campbell and Kenny Midgett; special friend, Jen McDougall; and his many golfing buddies.
A visitation will be held on Sat., Apr. 5, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel. Burial in Boykins, Va. will be private. www.SturtevantFuneralHome.com

Tommy, Sandra, Cindy, Becky and the rest of the Edwards family...I am so very sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I have many fond memories of him and Donnie playing golf at Stumpy Lake Golf Course. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all at this difficult time.
