Paul Fletcher

Paul Samuel Fletcher VIRGINIA BEACH - Paul Samuel Fletcher, 78, better known as "Papou," passed away Aug. 10, 2008, at a local hospital. Born in Blakely, Pa., he was the son of the late Harry and Mary Fletcher. Mr. Fletcher was retired from Northwest Airlines and also retired from Gallo Wine. He was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of Korea and a member of the American Legion in New Jersey. He is survived by his wife, Margaret A. Fletcher; two daughters, Patricia Ellen Rodgers and husband Ken of Branchburg, N.J., and Maureen Anne Tsionis and husband Paul of Virginia Beach; a son, Paul Kevin Fletcher and wife Jo Ann of Chesapeake; a sister, Elizabeth Fazio of Little Falls, N.J.; eight grandchildren, Matthew, Christina, John, Kevin, Fletcher, Zachary, David and Sheila; and one great-grandchild, Raelee. He was predeceased by his brother, David Fletcher. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, at noon in The Church of Holy Trinity, 60 Maple St., Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
