Paul Morisi Obituary


Paul Morisi CHESAPEAKE - Paul Morisi, 80, of the 300 block of Woodbridge Drive, passed away Dec. 28, 2008. Born in Italy, he was the son of the late Frank and Maria Morisi. He was predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Joyce Elaine Morisi. Mr. Morisi was retired from the U.S. Navy after 22 years of service. Mr. Morisi is survived by one son, Michael Morisi and wife Shannon of Chesapeake; one daughter, Shawna Brown and husband Doug of Denver; five grandchildren, Phillip, Collin and Dominic Morisi of Chesapeake, Carson and Mika Brown of Denver; one brother, Guido Morisi of Baltimore; as well numerous cousins and extended family. A graveside service with full military honors will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens, 524 Cedar Road, Chesapeake. Pastor Clayton Ritter will officiate. There will be no viewing or visitation. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, Chesapeake. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Southeastern Virginia Chapter of Alzheimer's Association, 6350 Center Drive, Suite 102, Norfolk, VA 23502. Friends are invited to sign the online guestbook at www.omanfh.com.
