Effervescent, genuine - just a couple of adjectives to describe this powerful woman of faith. I recall our great times. My parents, eldest sister, as well as a host of your loved ones are already there to greet you. Rest well from your labors. We'll do our utmost as a faith-family to surround Jim and those closest to you. Love eternally, PastahD
2 Timothy 4:7-8 The Message (MSG)
6-8 You take over. I'm about to die, my life an offering on God's altar. This is the only race worth running. I've run hard right to the finish, believed all the way. All that's left now is the shoutingGod's applause! Depend on it, he's an honest judge. He'll do right not only by me, but by everyone eager for his coming.

Paula was a reflection of God's love and grace in so many ways. She cared about others, and always had a kind, positive thing to say, even as she fought brain cancer. A wonderful lady who has enriched the lives of a multitude across the globe, her presence will live on in all of our hearts.

Remembering the shared times together. Paulâ & Jim were some of the first people who welcomed me into their Cell group when I came to Community UMC. Our lives touched in service in Mobile, Al after Katrina, where Paula helped me and stayed with me at the military base due to my breathing difficulties due to the mold in the church where the team was staying. She joined the St Paul's Food Pantry and willingly, joyfully organized the kitchen donations. Always willing to help- with a smile. She was a joy to count as a friend. Truly one of GODs lights in the world.

Paula was a very giving and soft spoken lady. We worked together in the Gulf Coast after Katrina on rebuilding homes and on UMW missions. Always gracious and beautiful. I will miss her smile and always cheerful disposition.

She will be missed. My love, prayers and hugs to all of you.
