Peter Wojcikowski Obituary
Virginia Beach - Peter Wojcikowski, 58, of Walkersville, WV, and formerly of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away Friday, December 8, 2017. Pete was born in Syracuse, NY, to the late Eugene T. and Mary E. Wojcikowski.
Pete was a devoted father, loyal friend, passionate surfer, motorcycle enthusiast, and avid hunter. Pete was a Merchant Mariner and loved the flexibility his career allowed him. When not spending time with his family and friends, Pete loved to read, play guitar, woodwork and most of all, spend time at the ocean. His proudest accomplishment, other than his son, was that he spent the last 29 years of his life in sobriety.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Enid Wojcikowski.
He is survived by his son, Peter Landon Wojcikowski (Samantha), sister, Louise Demetrescu (Jeff), former wife, Stacy Saville (Bill), Clayton, Jackson, close friends Lucy, Mickey, Joe and many cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 2:00pm at Bayside Presbyterian Church, 1400 Ewell Road, Virginia Beach, VA.
