Randy Ribaudo, 74, of Norfolk, VA, passed away on July 31, 2021 surrounded by his family.
Born and raised in Norfolk, VA, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Ruth Ribaudo. Randy was a graduate of Granby High School, Class of 1965. For 38 years, Randy worked as a Central Office/Fiber Optic Technician for C&P Telephone, Bell Atlantic and Verizon. He was a member of Third Presbyterian Church. When he was not working or spending time with his family, Randy was busy tinkering in the garage, working in the yard, or playing golf. His family was everything to him and his grandsons were his pride and joy.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 51 years Kathleen "Kitty" Ribaudo; his two daughters, Amy Griffin and her husband Dennis, and Kimberly Kahler and her husband Rick; three grandsons, Brandon Griffin and his wife Laura, Carter Griffin, and Ethan Kahler; brothers, Nicholas Ribaudo and his wife Irene, and Dean Ribaudo; sisters, Linda Blake and her husband Travis, and Terri Weaver and her husband Ron; a special cousin, Jean Sanyour; and several other cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel on Thursday, August 5, 2021, from 6 to 8 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk, VA. Memorial donations may be made to Third Presbyterian Church - Memorial Fund, 8065 Carlton St, Norfolk, VA 23518.
