Richard Gentry Obituary
He served in the United States Army. He retired from the U.S. Post Office as a Letter Carrier, and from the National Association of Letter Carriers as a Business Agent.
Richard is survived by his wife, Linda of 54 years; two sons Gregory and wife Emily, Jason and wife Lisa; grandchildren Julie, Amy, Jack, Logan and Leah; step grandchildren Josh, Cory, Alexis and Brianna; also a special cousin Linda and husband Bill. He was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to Creeds Volunteer Rescue Squad at 595 Princess Anne Rd., Va Beach, VA 23457 in Memory of Richard Gentry.
A private Graveside Service will be held at Charity United Methodist Church. Condolences may be expressed at www.candfservices.com.

Condolences and prayers to the family for your loss. I´ve known Dick since 1988 when I worked at the small old Princess Anne post office. He would always joke with me that he would officiate my wedding to Jay and I could walk thru the swinging doors in my uniform. You will be deeply missed dear friend.
