Bob will truly be missed, he was a great servant of God and had the most gentle smile. He had a love for everyone and showed it . Our lives have been blessed simply by knowing him, we loved him and his precious wife .

My first relationship with Bob was as a student in his classroom. From there, he evolved into a tennis coach, mentor and long time friend. The peaceful confidence Bob had through his connection to his savior was absolutely palpable! Gail, Renee, Robin and family, we mourn with you over this loss and we celebrate with you over the profound impact that this man had on the lives of so many! Bryan Rex, Norfolk Christian 92

Bob was one of those servants of the Lord who reflected genuine faith and a sincere love for those whom he met and knew. He was one of my heroes of Christian education. Truly a warrior for Christ in a winsome way.

Growing up in Norfolk, my family was immensely blessed by Bob's discipleship, love and leadership at Norfolk Christian and in the community. When my sister died suddenly in 1994, Bob was one of the first to show up at our family's doorstep. I am still moved by the perspective he gave me that day, which was "David, you're going to go through a lot of grief. But in the Lord, it's ALL good grief." Love to his family. -Dave Prevette, Norfolk Christian HS class of 1993.
