Rodolfo Y. Encina

Virginia Beach - Rodolfo Yambao Encina, 77, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2013.

Born in Santa Rosa City, Laguna, Philippines, he was retired from the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer and was a veteran of Vietnam. He was employed at Jamestown 4-H Center in Williamsburg, VA. He was a member of Catholic Church of St. Mark, Union Masonic Lodge #31 AF&AM in Niantic, CT and the Owens Masonic Lodge #164 AF&AM in Norfolk, VA.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 45 years, Fe B. Encina; son, Roswell Encina of Baltimore, MD, brother, Romiro Encina of Philippines and two sisters, Ligaya Encina of Philippines and Gilda Alinsod of Vancouver, Canada.

The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013 and Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013 from 6 to 9 p.m. Masonic Rites will be accorded at the funeral home Saturday at 6 p.m. followed by military honors at 6:30 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013 at the Catholic Church of St. Mark by Rev. Fr. James C. Griffin. Condolences may be offered to the family at:
