Ronald H. Williams CHESAPEAKE - Ronald H. "Willy" Williams, 66, of Forest Cove Drive, passed away Monday, Sept. 6, 2010 at his residence. He was a native of Whitmire, S.C., a retired U.S. Navy chief petty officer with 24 years service serving in Vietnam and Beirut, and also worked at Home Depot. He was a coin collector and sports enthusiast and son of the late John and Thelma Smith Williams. Survivors include his beloved wife of 31 years, Deborah Kay Williams; two sons, Michael J. Williams and wife Tiffiny of Elizabeth City, N.C., and Kevin J. Williams of Chesapeake; one sister, Marlene Evans and her husband Bob of Fort Pierce, Fla.; two grandchildren, Cheyenne Williams and Makenzi Diluzio of Elizabeth City; two sisters- in-law, Beverly Rastetter and Connie Shrader. A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept 8., at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, with the Rev. James Packe officiating. The family will be at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
