Susan E. Lass

Susan Elizabeth Howard Lass, 51, died Tuesday, January 22, 2018 in her residence. She was the daughter of the late Ronald and Ruth Ann Seabright Howard.Susan was a former School Teacher with the Norfolk Public School System and most recently worked at Tarrallton and Larrymore elementary schools. She was a graduate of Woodbridge High School, Woodbridge, Virginia and St. Benedicts College, St. Joseph, Minnesota and a second bachelor’s degree education from Virginia Wesleyan College. She earned her Master’s degree in Education from the University of Virginia and attended Old Dominion University where she was working on her post graduate studies in Literacy. She was a Roman Catholic and a member of ADK Sorority.She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Mark Edward Lass of Norfolk and her daughters; Seren Elizabeth Howard Lass of Richmond and Caitlyn Grace Howard Lass of Staunton, Virginia. She is also survived by her sister, Judith Marie Howard of St. Louis, Missouri and her granddaughter, Natalie Cate Beck.Funeral Services will be private.
