Wanza Farr Obituary
Norfolk - Wanza Melissa Farr of Norfolk, VA departed this life on Saturday, June 1, 2013. She was born in Prince George County, VA on August 4, 1937 to the late Peter and Eva Epps. Wanza accepted Christ at an early age and joined Morning Star Baptist Church of Burrowville, VA. Wanza was preceded in death by her daughter Angela Brooks; brothers, Roland, Norman, Daniel, Calvin and Clarence Epps; sisters Lillian Fields, Theressa Cheeks, and Bobbie Lee. She is survived by sisters Olga Butler and Vivian Jenkins; children Anette Wise, Melvin Lewis, Anita Lewis, Andora Urbina and Antonio Lewis; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends. A funeral will be held, 11 a.m., Friday, June 7, at Metropolitan Funeral Service, 7246 Granby St. Norfolk, VA 23505. The family will receive friends, 7-8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
