William Wenzel Obituary
William J. Wenzel FRISCO - William John "Bill" Wenzel, 82, died Sept. 4, 2008. He was born in Philadelphia. Bill farmed in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and was a veteran having served in the U.S. Marines 5th Division during World War II in occupied Japan. He was a farmer, millwright, hunter, fisherman and animal lover. Bill retired to Dare County in 1982 with his loving wife of almost 60 years, Mildred VanHise Wenzel. He loved the water and spending time with his wife, many friends, neighbors and their pets. At Bill's request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a charity of one's choice. Twiford's Funeral Home, Chesapeake, is handling arrangements.
