My condolences and deepest sympathy to the Gerald family. Howard was a friend and classmate that I had known for over fifty years. We first met in elementary school (John Goode) in the Brambleton section of Norfolk and moved on together through Jr. High (Ruffner) and High School (BTW). We claimed our parents addresses as home on Canton Ave. for more than forty years. Howard will be sorely missed by members of the Campostella Heights community and the Booker T. Washington Class of 1968.
