She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Annetta Mitchell Smith; and husband, Albert L. Tate.
She is survived by her son, Albert L. Tate II; brother, David Smith; and sister, Mary Humphrey.
Cremation was chosen. Shoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home in Mount Washington was in charge of arrangements.
