Nannie Jordon

Nannie Jordon, 84, of Louisville returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late Otis and Mary Weightman on Thursday, March 13, 1941, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was a happy and kind person who never spoke a bad word. Nannie liked to take trips to flea markets and thrift stores. When she was able she enjoyed going fishing. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all those that loved her.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband William Jordon Sr; a brother, George Weightman; sisters Dava Timberlake and Guy Sneed. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her sons, William 'Bill' Jordon Jr. (Barbara), Daymond Jordon (Donna), Raymond and Rodney Jordon; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Bob and Ron Weightman; a sister Betty Decker, along with a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be at 10 am on Monday, May 12, 2025, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
