Ruth Anderson Obituary
Mrs. Anderson was born on January 6, 1935, in Branford, Fla., to the late Sheldon and Pearl (Owens) Parrott.
She was a talented homemaker and a long-time member of Little Flock Baptist Church.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, neighbor, and Pink Flamingo bowler. She held a cosmetology license and previously owned Gay Top beauty salon in Valley Station. She was a talented painter. She loved fried fish, yellow tomatoes, and Jesus. Most of all Jesus. Her chicken and dumplings were the best.
Ruth's sweetness and affection will be missed by all who knew her.
Among those that preceded her in death are her parents; siblings, Gene, Henry, and Thelma; son, David; and husband of 63 years, 'Scottie' Sherman Anderson.
