I have fond memories of Bev when we were both at Blaine-Sumner Middle School. Although she had a tight schedule to follow, sh always had time to chat. I had he privilege of teaching two of her grandsons whom she loved dearly. Bev left her mark on the world. She will be missed. Barbara McCoy former 7th grade teacher .Blaine-Sumner School

I stopped and smelled the roses.

I stopped to kiss the grandbabies and watch them as they play.

The angels called to take me and were ready to lead the way.

I'm not ready I've got dinner and kids, and a card game to play.

They kissed me softly and said you aren't going away.

Just a different world, a world that is eternally away.

You will meet again, laugh again be together again some day.

Ok you talked me into it, and I slowly took her hand.

She could not prepare me for what I was about to see a whole new beautiful land.

With grace and peace and beauty beyond what you could ever see.

I knew it was my time as my family patiently waited for me.

So I am not gone and I know I'll always be right here.

Everytime the grandbabies look up and smile or a brush as I walk past, I'm oh so near.

Near to your heart, for my soul lives on forever.

I'll be around always, I promise to always be near forever and ever.

Know that I love you and you were all I had.

Through all the good heart felt times and the sorrowful, dreary and the bad.

I'm free as free as I have longed to be.

I just took my time, stopped to smell the roses, and kissed my grandbabies so they'd remember me.

Cry no more, but celebrate my new life.

Where I will be reunited as a sister a mother and a wife.

I love you all and I hope you know.

I loved you all always, and I thank you for letting me go.
