I sat here with tears in my eyes. I worked with Brent for many years at Daily Lab and then at PDC lab. He taught me many of the lab tests. We became godd co workers, often knowing what each other was going to say before we spoke. I always have wanted the best for Brent. I have to feel some peace now knowing he is with the lord now. I will be thinking about all the good times we had working together. Please know he is watching over us now in heaven. Please accept my deepest sympathy ,for I heard so much about you all and never meet any of you. I am still in shock, he left us so soon. I do not get the journal star and did not hear this news or I would come to the services. I am so sorry. He was a wonderful person.

I was shocked and very saddened to learn of Brent's passing. He and I were co-workers at Daily Analytical Labs and very good friends. We played basketball quite a bit and my wife and I had him over for many meals amongst other things. I am not a fan of the U of I or Cards, so we had lots of fun joking around about that stuff!! :-) We had a lot of fun together!! Even though I have not seen him in many years, I will truly miss him.

Our family was blessed to have had Brent join our family 7 years ago. We will truly miss him and the sweetness of the friendship he had with Ruthanna.

Brent was a true professional in the lab. I worked closely along side him for three years in the bacteriology lab at PDC. He taught me well and I will forever be grateful. We had fun following Illini hoops and enjoyed a good Cub-Cardinal rivalry.
