Doc and Mary Ellen,
I just returned home from my Caribbean cruise and learned of your mother's death. No son or "daughter" could have taken better care of a loved one like you two did for your mother. May you hold on to memories that will bring smiles without tears.

My sympathy to the Johnigk family. I remember our families getting together when we were young. Kids everywhere. We had such a good time and we were all raised by loving parents. I'm sorry for your loss but know your mother is in a better place. Love and prayers, Sheila Walsh Opper.

To the family of Catherine Johnigk,
How well we remember the Johnigk family on the corner of Airport and Smithville Roads in Bartonville! It took quite a "Mom" to raise seven boys and one girl. We remember the days when "Dad Joey" was overseas during WWII. Joe, Jr., had to wait a few years to see his father for the first time. Now it's time for the next generation to carry on the love and care that was given them through the years, and which Catherine experienced from her family during her illness. We express our sympathy in your loss and commend you for all you have done during this time.
