Christopher Alexander Obituary
EAST PEORIA - Christopher L. Alexander, 51, passed away on July 10, 2018, in East Peoria, Illinois.
He was born on April 24, 1967 in Peoria, Illinois. He married Nancie Letsinger on June 10, 2012.
Even in his passing, Chris was unselfish when he chose to donate his body for science research in an effort to help others.
On Friday, July 13, Chris will be with us in spirit as we visit at St. Thomas Church from 4 to 6 p.m. to offer words of comfort to each other. After our time together at the church, we will also be celebrating his memory and his life with family and friends from 6 to 10 p.m. at 5th Quarter Sports Bar.

Chris was a great man... smart, caring, and one hell of an athlete. I enjoyed running with him, and he was instrumental in promoting running in Peoria. He will be missed.

I met Chris for the first at one of our many IVS functions several years ago. He always brought a smile with him to the running community and always volunteered or helped out in any way he could. A great guy to chat with about anything. He will really be missed. Thanks Chris for your friendship and generosity.

For several years now Chris has selflessly given his time and donated his equipment to aid us in putting on a 5K run at the 183 ANG in Springfield. He always showed up early for set up and hung around until the end to give out the time sheets for everyone. His efforts were greatly appreciated and he will be missed.

I moved away and have not seen Chris in 35 years. Never forgot him. He really was/is a life changer.
