Debra S. Stoner
CHILLICOTHE - Debra S. Stoner, 59, of Chillicothe passed away at Morton Terrace Nursing Home in Morton.
She was born on Aug. 11, 1956 in Princeton to Daniel and Isabelle (Maynard) Donnelly. She married Paul Stoner on March 23, 1991 in Chillicothe.
Surviving is her husband Paul of Chillicothe; her parents, Daniel and Isabelle Donnelly of Chillicothe; two sisters, Kathleen (Scott) Heffington of Chandler, AZ and Julia (Mark) Mead of Princeton; three brothers, Michael (Rhonda) Donnelly of Chillicothe, Jim (Ivy) Donnelly of San Antonio, TX, and Jerry (Jennifer) Donnelly of Chillicothe; three foster brothers, John McDermaid of Chillicothe, Ryan Eaton of Jessup, MD, Patrick Eaton of Great Falls, MT; a brother-in-law Hailey Stoner of Liverpool; a sister-in-law, Gail Perez of Lakeland, FL; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel G. Donnelly.
Debra enjoyed playing the piano since childhood, she would play for family weddings and church masses. She liked people, sitting at the Track Inn and visiting while having coffee. She also liked the outdoors, watching the Eagles down on the riverfront. If you want to do something for her, say "Hi" to a stranger or plant a tree in her memory.
A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. Edward Catholic Church in Chillicothe. Fr. Keith Walder will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service time at the church. Burial will be held in the Chillicothe City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Hospital in Peoria. I am sorry for your loss. I went to St. Edward's school with Debbie. She and I made a science project at your home when we were in the in the sixth grade (I think). It was on different types of clouds. I remember her as always being kind and friendly to everyone. God bless her and keep her in heaven.
