Eric Glenn Collier
PEORIA - Eric Glenn Collier, 49, peacefully passed away in his home from COVID-19 complications on March 23, 2021, in Peoria, IL. He was born March 11, 1972, in Urbana, IL, to Glenn and Josephine Collier, they survive.
Eric graduated from Peoria High School, where he was an excellent athlete and played in the 1988 State Football Championship. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. Eric was a loyal Chicago Cubs and University of Illinois fan.
Eric is survived by his parents, Josephine Collier and Glenn (Kristie) Collier of Peoria; long-term companion, Jessica Porch of Peoria; one daughter, Brianna (Branden) Taber of Morton, IL, whom he shared with his former spouse, Regina Lawton; one grandson, Preston Taber of Morton, IL; stepsiblings, Alex, Eric, and Elizabeth Evers; and numerous extended family members and friends.
There will be a private family gathering in his memory.

Prayers for peace to all of you.
I recently saw Eric, and after a big hug we shared memories of growing up and going to grade school together. The good old days...I will always remember his kind nature, and ability to kick home runs in kickball during recess.
