John, Bill and family, as you know Evelyn and I have kept in touch over the years. We were "Best Friends Forever." It was how we always signed our cards and letters. It was only a couple weeks ago when she surprised me with a phone call, and now I know how very blessed I was to hear her voice one last time. I'll never forget her, her kindness, her adorable laugh, the good times we had gardening and canning tomatoes, and hiking along the river with the dogs, and Claud-Elen Days...I was so richly blessed to have her as a friend. My love and prayers, Cindy
