Genevieve Wilson Obituary
PEORIA HEIGHTS - Genevieve C. "Genie" Wilson, 53, of Peoria Heights passed away and flew to the loving arms of our Lord at 6:01 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2017, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Genie was born on October 21, 1963, in Gary, IN, to Bob and Catherine Reinhardt. On October 19, 1985, she married Michael R. Wilson Sr. in Jacksonville, IL.
Surviving are her loving husband, Michael of Peoria Heights; her children, Scott (Erin) Seibert, Amber (Joey) Larmore, Michael Wilson Jr. and Janessa (Keneatris) Martinez; step-daughter, Paula Wilson; three granddaughters; six grandsons; three great-grandchildren; brother, Tommy Reinhardt; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Genie was a loving wife, daughter and mother. She was one of a kind and had a heart of gold. She was hard working and always put others first. Genie loved to fish, especially at Lake Mead, and just enjoyed being on the water. She liked to dance, sing and relax in front of the TV to watch a good series with her husband.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded and Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria is serving the family.

I am so sorry to hear of Genie's passing. We grew up together as she lived down the street from me in Aetna. I remember she was quiet but always had a beautiful smile and loved listening to music. May she fly with angels.

I cannot express the sorrow my family is undergoing at this time. However, it brings me much peace with the understandings my Aunt is no longer suffering. She was strong until her very last breath.... Now she is dancing with the angels, watching over all of us❤ We have decades of beautiful memories together! Memories that I will treasure until we meet again! Life will not be easy without you... I'll see you in my dreams.... Until we meet again, I'll close with our song as we always did.... My wish... I love you beautiful❤❤❤❤ Always!
